Housing Management Responsibilities

The City of New York seeks a skilled Housing Management Coordinator to oversee the day-to-day operations of our residential properties. Key responsibilities include:

  • Interviewing applicants and gathering information to resolve complaints
  • Conducting field visits for rent collection and home visits regarding housekeeping concerns
  • Performing rentals and completing annual/interim reviews
  • Attending administrative hearings

Requirements

A four-year high school diploma or its equivalent and four years of satisfactory full-time experience in housing management are required. Undergraduate college credit may be substituted for experience on the basis of 30 semester credits from an accredited college.
