Assistant Store Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in promoting a customer-focused sales culture. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales operations, asset protection, and human resources functions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze sales reports and KPIs to determine business needs and execute in-store business strategies.
• Establish clear expectations and hold the store team accountable for achieving brand standards.
• Control payroll and supply budgets.
• Perform and oversee basic operational activities such as scheduling, target shrink audits, physical inventory, and merchandise flow processes.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, loss prevention policies, and operating procedures.
• Develop a high-performance culture and motivate the sales team to meet sales and productivity goals.
• Train and coach the sales team on product knowledge and sales techniques.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of retail management experience.
• Excellent communication, verbal, and written skills.
• Ability to learn and adapt to technology.
• Proven customer service skills with a statistical track record in sales and leadership.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership qualities, training, and team-building skills.
• Knowledge of administrative aspects of store operations.
• Ability to communicate with customers and staff.
Physical Requirements:
• Constant walking and standing.
• Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Frequent climbing.
