Position Summary:
The Sewer Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all personnel and activities within the Sewer Service and Installation departments.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to meet the financial objectives of both departments.
- Supervise all aspects related to scheduling, training, and management of Sewer technicians.
- Foster collaboration between departments to ensure seamless operations and high-quality service delivery.

A Day in the Life:
- Lead the Sewer Service and Installation teams to execute jobs in accordance with industry standards, enhance revenue, and elevate customer satisfaction.
- Mentor team members on product knowledge, sales strategies, and service systems to maximize opportunities.
- Review customer job proposals to ensure profitability and assign appropriate teams for execution.
- Address customer service issues and resolve them effectively.
- Report to management on projected revenue, challenges, and departmental growth, and participate in all required weekly meetings.
- Audit technician timesheets to ensure departmental efficiency standards are met.
- Conduct field inspections and rides.
- Plan, prioritize, and delegate tasks to ensure timely completion of essential duties.
- Collaborate with human resources to fulfill staffing needs for the department.
- Analyze relevant data, reports, and key performance indicators related to the service department.
- Manage disciplinary actions and training deficiencies in accordance with company policies.
- Develop and maintain standards and checklists for service technicians.
- Facilitate service meetings, training sessions, including safety compliance, and team huddles.
- Oversee technician communications regarding invoicing and ensure accuracy.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in service and/or installation, with sales management experience preferred.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Basic math skills are essential.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong interpersonal abilities.
- Proven leadership skills to train, mentor, and coach team members as needed.

Physical and Environmental Requirements:
- The physical demands of this role require the ability to stand, walk, climb, sit, squat, bend, twist, reach, talk, and hear, while frequently lifting up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds.
- The work environment may involve various weather conditions and temperatures, including working in tight spaces such as attics, basements, and crawl spaces.
