Position Overview:
The Haile Gold Mine is seeking a proactive Mine Performance Analyst to enhance MineStar and PowerBI Data Integration within Surface Mine Operations, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze data to ensure Surface Mine Operations achieve KPIs and identify root causes of variances.
  • Support Continuous Improvement initiatives by providing retrospective analyses to uncover improvement opportunities.
  • Leverage historical data for both short-term and long-term operational planning.
  • Integrate Surface Mine Operational data into PowerBI for enhanced reporting.
  • Identify data gaps and assist in closing them to maintain high-quality data standards.
  • Prepare and disseminate reports for Surface Mine Operations, including monthly summaries.
  • Perform additional duties as reasonably required.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in data reporting, integration, and management is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI is essential.
  • Experience in the mining sector is advantageous.

Physical Requirements:

  • Regularly required to stand, sit, demonstrate manual dexterity, climb stairs, talk, hear, and see.
  • Occasionally required to lift moderately heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).
  • May need to work early morning or evening hours to accommodate global needs.
  • Work is conducted in a surface mine plant setting, with potential exposure to temperature and humidity extremes.
  • Personal protective equipment is mandatory in the mine environment, including hard hats, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and other necessary protective gear.
