Job Summary

As a key member of the Walgreens team, the Financial Manager will be responsible for leading a team of analysts in supporting the field finance organization. This role requires a strong understanding of finance, operations, and compensation, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the delivery of financial and analytical work product for the team, ensuring timely and accurate results.
  • Develop and maintain financial and operational data, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to establish key performance metrics and provide insights to inform business decisions.
  • Present findings and recommendations to various management levels, including executive leadership.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve business processes and operations.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to team members to ensure their growth and development.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in finance, accounting, or analytics, or equivalent experience.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, conditional formatting, and data analysis.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA or MS in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or analytics, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with project management, including planning, organizing, and managing resources.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, including formatting, tables, and page layout.
