{"Job Title": "Culinary Instructor - Workforce Development", "Job Summary": "We are seeking a skilled Culinary Instructor to join our Workforce Development team. As a Culinary Instructor, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and instructing students in culinary programs. You will teach skills required to pass ServSafe and other culinary instructional programs in English and Spanish. You will also be responsible for organizing and cleaning up kitchen facilities as directed. Additionally, you will manage certification processes and online portals for certificates and renewal. You will support student learning with virtual or on-site availability and work with division leadership and staff to plan and offer programs in Workforce Development or community education.

Responsibilities:

* Plan, prepare, and instruct students in culinary programs
* Teach skills required to pass ServSafe and other culinary instructional programs in English and Spanish
* Organize and clean up kitchen facilities as directed
* Manage certification processes and online portals for certificates and renewal
* Support student learning with virtual or on-site availability
* Work with division leadership and staff to plan and offer programs in Workforce Development or community education

Requirements:

* At least 5 years of culinary back of the house experience
* All relevant certifications for teaching such as ServSafe Instructor certification
* Industry standard culinary degree or certificate and/or BA or BS preferred
* Teaching experience preferred

Additional Information:

* Hourly rate: $45/hr. @ 10/hr. per week
