About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Instructor to join our team at Bunker Hill Community College. As a Culinary Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching culinary skills to students in our Workforce and Economic Development programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver culinary instruction to students in our Workforce and Economic Development programs.
  • Teach skills required to pass ServSafe and other culinary instructional programs in English and Spanish.
  • Be responsible for the organization and cleanliness of kitchen facilities.
  • Manage the certification process and online portals for certificates and renewal.
  • Support student learning through virtual or on-site availability.
  • Work with leadership and staff to plan and offer programs in Workforce and Economic Development or community education.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff in other divisions to coordinate space usage and materials.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of culinary back-of-the-house experience.
  • All relevant certifications for teaching, such as ServSafe Instructor certification.
  • Industry-standard culinary degree or certificate and/or BA or BS preferred.
  • Teaching experience preferred.
What We Offer
