Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Manager to join our team at Southwire Company, LLC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading our maintenance efforts and ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical and mechanical systems, with experience in supervising and leading teams. You will be responsible for scheduling and assigning maintenance tasks, coordinating with outside contractors, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will also be responsible for providing leadership and support to your team, promoting a culture of safety and excellence, and contributing to the overall success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise a team of maintenance personnel, including electricians, mechanics, and other technical staff
  • Schedule and assign maintenance tasks, ensuring timely completion and compliance with safety regulations
  • Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors to ensure seamless execution of maintenance projects
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans and procedures to optimize equipment performance and reduce downtime
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with other departments, including engineering and quality, to ensure alignment and effective communication
  • Provide training and development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, such as electrical or mechanical engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance management, with a strong background in electrical and mechanical systems
  • Proven track record of leading and supervising teams, with a focus on safety and excellence
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office and maintenance management software
