Educational Childcare Professional

About the Role

As an Educational Childcare Professional at Chesterbrook Academy, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment that fosters the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of children. Your primary goal will be to provide high-quality care and education that promotes each child's unique growth and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Care and Education: Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of children aged infant to 5 years old, focusing on their individual developmental stages.
  • Safety and Health: Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment that adheres to all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Communication: Build strong relationships with parents and carers through regular updates and open communication, ensuring they are informed about their child's progress and any concerns.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve the school's goals and objectives, promoting a culture of mutual respect and support.
Requirements
  • A minimum of one year of experience working with children in a childcare setting.
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent, with a focus on Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ability to lift and move equipment and supplies as needed.
  • A valid certification in CPR/First Aid.
