About the Role

Rocket Software is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, IT Program Management Office to lead our IT Program Management Office (PMO) team. This is a critical role that will be responsible for providing strategic direction and accountability for managing the successful implementation of complex back-office systems and large-scale M&A integrations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership to the IT PMO team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Program Management: Manage the activities of the IT PMO team, including project planning, execution, monitoring, and control.
  • Methodology Development: Develop and champion the Rocket IT Agile Project Management, Portfolio Management, and Program Management methodologies.
  • Stakeholder Management: Communicate with stakeholders, including IT and business teams, to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to optimize project delivery.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage a team of IT PMO professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities.
Requirements
  • Experience: 8+ years of previous supervisory/management experience, with a strong background in IT program management.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Certifications: PMP, PMI-ACP, or equivalent certifications preferred.
