Role Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
Reporting directly to the Principal or designated personnel, the Lead Custodial Assistant is responsible for:

  • Ensuring custodial staff adhere to cleaning protocols and maintain their designated areas effectively.
  • Monitoring inventory levels of cleaning supplies to support operational efficiency.
  • Maintaining accurate records related to custodial activities and inventory management.

Daily Tasks:
In the assigned areas, the Lead Custodial Assistant will:
  • Empty waste and recycling containers.
  • Thoroughly clean floors and surfaces.
  • Sanitize restrooms and common areas.

Periodic and Seasonal Duties:
These include:
  • Conducting high and low dusting, window cleaning, and surface maintenance.
  • Performing seasonal tasks such as snow removal and grounds upkeep.

Safety and Compliance:
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by:
  • Adhering to OSHA and FCPS safety standards.
  • Monitoring work areas for potential hazards.
  • Operating cleaning equipment safely and effectively.

Qualifications:
