The Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer with expertise in automation, design, and controls to join our team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for designing and developing end-to-end automation solutions for processes, creating thorough documentation, and performing system integration across electromechanical systems.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop automation solutions for processes
  • Create detailed documentation (CAD, drawings, design rationale, etc.)
  • Perform system integration and troubleshooting
  • Fabricate and assemble mechanical components and automation systems
  • Develop and implement testing protocols to validate system performance and reliability
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement them
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher, or equivalent experience
  • Industry experience in mechanical engineering
  • Mechanical component design
  • Rapid prototyping
  • System Integration
  • Motion controls
  • Python scripting
What We Offer

At Atomic Semi, we're committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The annual salary range for this role is $140,000 - $180,000, and our total compensation package includes generous equity in Atomic Semi. We also offer a range of benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and a 401(k) retirement plan.
