About the Job:

We are seeking a full-time Regional Wellness Manager (Registered Dietitian) to support school accounts in the Charlotte, NC area as well as across North and South Carolina.

This is a great role for an experienced dietitian looking for their next career step. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing FISD nutrition programs, supporting quality assurance in areas of nutrition labeling, food allergies, and special diets, as well as coordinating and measuring nutrition and wellness initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand and execute Company food philosophy and wellness programs including FISD wellness commitments and op-in wellness offerings.
  • Play an active role in educating account operational teams on FISD wellness standards as well as protocols related to risk management of food allergies and special diets.
  • Coordinate wellness events calendar with regional marketing and culinary team and aligns with client and school events.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date knowledge of nutrition topics related to food service, culinary and nutrition trends, wellness technology, student health and wellness. Communicates to team regarding industry's nutritional trends.
  • Assess client, customer and operator needs; customizes and coordinates nutrition and wellness programs and initiatives.
  • Establish relationships and maintains partnerships with client health and wellness program/initiative designees.
  • Assesses regional needs and develops/ provides regional best practice materials for health fairs, lunch and learns, program launches, client meetings, school wellness events, tastings, etc. Monitors and benchmarks best practices across region.
  • Conducts, monitors and analyzes audit data and site visit reports to ensure region and account performance against wellness standards; develops corrective action plans with wellness coordinators, wellness managers and dining directors; monitors and enforces corrective action on wellness and sustainability standards, nutrition policies, labeling laws and food allergy management.
  • Assesses opportunities to use technology and marketing innovations to help drive wellness. Creates regional action plans for implementation.
  • Monitors, assesses and increases Webtrition usage and compliance within assigned accounts; holds units in region accountable for using Webtrition recipes in daily food production.

Requirements:

  • Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) required.
  • Licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing Board in states where applicable required.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of four (4) years of professional RD experience required.
  • Contract food service and/or schools or campus work experience highly preferred.
  • Food Service experience preferred.
  • Serve-Safe certification preferred. If not certified, must obtain certification within twelve (12) weeks from date of hire.

Compensation:

  • Competitive salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year, based on experience.
