Position Overview

Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health is currently seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to become a vital member of our Family Medicine team. This role is designed for a dedicated professional who is committed to delivering exceptional healthcare services to a diverse patient population, ranging from infants to seniors.

Team Collaboration
As part of a dynamic team that includes multiple Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive and quality healthcare. Our focus is on promoting wellness, managing chronic illnesses, and ensuring timely interventions for acute health issues. You will have direct access to cutting-edge treatment options, enhancing the care we provide.

Practice Environment
Our Family Medicine practice operates from two locations, allowing for shared resources and a unified approach to patient care. We are proud to be recognized as a Patient-Centered Medical Home by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA), which underscores our commitment to fostering strong physician-patient relationships through accessibility and effective communication.

Work Schedule
This is a full-time position with a schedule primarily between 7:00 AM and 8:00 PM from Monday to Thursday, with Fridays from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and a rotational Saturday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. On-call duties are also part of the role.

Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • For Nurse Practitioners: Valid Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner license and Certificate of Prescriptive Authority in Pennsylvania, along with certification by ANCC or a similar agency in the relevant specialty. A minimum of one year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner is preferred.
  • For Physician Assistants: Current licensure as a Physician Assistant by the PA Board of Medicine and graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant training program. A minimum of one year of experience as a Physician Assistant is strongly preferred.
