About the Role

The University of Chicago Comprehensive Cancer Center is seeking a highly skilled Program Manager/Analyst to support its data-driven initiatives. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex data to inform strategic decisions and drive business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect and manage large datasets to identify trends and insights that inform departmental initiatives and programs.
  • Develop and maintain databases, spreadsheets, and other data management tools to support data analysis and reporting.
  • Analyze data to identify areas of improvement and develop recommendations for process enhancements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data-driven solutions that drive business outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to communicate data insights to stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and visualization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as public health, health care administration, business, or public policy.
  • 2-5 years of experience in a related field, with a strong background in data analysis and interpretation.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of data management tools and technologies, including databases, spreadsheets, and data visualization software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's or PhD degree in a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in a related field, with a strong background in data analysis and interpretation.
  • Experience working with researcher, clinicians, community, and senior leaders.
  • Strong knowledge of epidemiology, statistics, and data visualization.
