Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Engineering Technician, you will be responsible for setting up and evaluating engineering designs for large-scale electronic and mechanical displays. This includes assembling hardware, wiring PCBAs and components, developing software components, conducting system tests, and documenting/reporting outcomes. The designs you will work on encompass LED and motor-controlled message signage intended for highways and fuel stations.

Areas of Expertise:

  • Basic proficiency in Linux command line
  • Embedded systems knowledge
  • Experience with microcontrollers
  • Familiarity with serial communication protocols such as RS2332, RS485, Ethernet, SPI, and I2C
  • PCBA testing skills
  • Embedded firmware understanding
  • LabVIEW proficiency

Required Qualifications:

  • Ability to interpret schematics
  • Capability to read wiring diagrams
  • Strong troubleshooting skills using laboratory equipment like logic analyzers and oscilloscopes
  • Experience in writing technical reports
  • Skill in creating test plans and documentation
  • Ability to validate products against established standards
  • Competence in diagnosing electrical and electronic failures at the PCBA level
  • Capacity to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Adaptable attitude conducive to teamwork.
