Multifamily Community Operations Manager

A multifamily community operations manager is needed to support the day-to-day operations and resident relations for one of our affordable housing communities. As an assistant property manager, you will have a proven track record of success in a similar role, as well as strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting and inspiring the team to achieve occupancy and client retention goals, maintaining the property's financial performance according to budget, delivering timely financial and operational reports to clients and ownership groups, cultivating strong relationships with owners, residents, employees, and vendors, coaching the team to differentiate the community from competitors, collaborating with the marketing group to position the community attractively, ensuring consistent guest satisfaction and outstanding customer reviews, and encouraging team growth through knowledge sharing and training participation.
What You'll Do:
• Support and inspire the team to achieve occupancy and client retention goals
• Maintain the property's financial performance according to budget
• Deliver timely financial and operational reports to clients and ownership groups
• Cultivate strong relationships with owners, residents, employees, and vendors
• Coach the team to differentiate the community from competitors

What It Takes:
• 3+ years of property management experience
• Experience with affordable housing programs and compliance: i.e. Project-Based Section 8, Tax Credit (LIHTC), Elderly, Family, etc
• Familiarity with industry software, apps, and computer programs (i.e. Yardi, etc)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
