Job Overview

Position: Systems Analyst 2

Location: Savannah, GA (Onsite)

This role involves the imaging, deployment, and technical assistance of laptops, desktops, and peripherals for both in-house and remote clientele. You will be responsible for configuring and supporting desktop applications while ensuring compliance with IT policies. Responsibilities also include data backup and restoration, as well as hardware support.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide on-site desktop support for users within designated locations.
  2. Troubleshoot workstation and peripheral issues, diagnosing and resolving problems both remotely and in person.
  3. Ensure that user applications and equipment function as intended and adhere to all relevant policies and procedures.
  4. Install and support network devices that deliver critical business services.
  5. Perform user data backup and recovery with meticulous attention to detail.
  6. Process surplus equipment following established protocols, ensuring proper sanitization of electronic devices, including disk wiping to DoD standards.
  7. Open, document, and track problem tickets, escalating to appropriate teams when necessary.
  8. Collaborate with vendor support to resolve technical issues related to desktop hardware and software.
  9. Assist with special projects, including the setup, breakdown, and relocation of computer equipment and peripherals.
