Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct audits and inspections to ensure adherence to program regulations and industry standards.
  • Develop and implement guidance documents and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and present findings and recommendations to management and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with staff to review and analyze data from licensed entities to ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Respond to inquiries from applicants, licensed entities, and stakeholders regarding compliance and regulatory matters.
  • Review and research licensee information to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with completion of on-site inspection reports and findings after inspection completed.
  • Assist with drafting responses to FAQs and knowledge-based language for shared mailbox responses.
  • Compile information to be shared with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • May serve on a team conducting inspections of licensed entities to monitor compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • May evaluate licensee standard operating procedures, including environmental impact of cannabis cultivation methods, manufacturing and extraction methods for cannabis processing, product labeling, packaging, and advertising for cannabis products.
  • May perform the full range of supervisory responsibilities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field, such as business, law, or public policy.
  • At least two years of experience in regulatory compliance, auditing, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and apply regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position, and the selected candidate will be required to work in a office environment. The position may require occasional travel to inspect licensed entities and attend industry events.
