Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to work on a per diem basis, providing home health visits to adult and geriatric patients in senior living communities throughout Chesapeake, Norfolk, and Portsmouth, VA.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in clients.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address client needs and goals.
  • Provide one-on-one therapy sessions to clients, either in their homes or in our offices.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
  • Document client progress and maintain accurate records of treatment plans and outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Current license as a Speech Language Pathologist in Virginia.
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
  • Experience working with adult and geriatric populations, preferably in home health care settings.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on providing high-quality care and services.
