Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team at APAC - Central-Central West Region - NWA. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely operating heavy equipment to support our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate various types of heavy equipment, including loaders, excavators, dozers, graders, and backhoes, to perform tasks such as excavation, grading, and material transportation.
  • Ensure equipment is properly maintained and inspected daily to prevent accidents and ensure optimal performance.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, forepersons, and other team members to coordinate daily operations and ensure project goals are met.
  • Perform pre-startup procedures, including checking fluid levels and completing daily equipment checklists.
  • Coordinate with other equipment operators to ensure efficient and safe operation of equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including equipment and surrounding areas.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; related experience in construction or heavy equipment operation preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and project managers.
  • Knowledge of heavy equipment operation and maintenance procedures.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a variety of weather conditions.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record required.
