Position Overview

MultiCare Health System is looking for a dedicated Patient Care Technician to join our team in Tacoma, Washington.

Job Responsibilities

Your Role

As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care. This position encompasses a variety of responsibilities, including nursing assistance, patient transportation, and clerical tasks, all aimed at enhancing patient health outcomes.

Key Duties Include:

  • Performing a diverse range of tasks throughout the healthcare facility
  • Assisting with fundamental nursing care and patient transport
  • Utilizing strong interpersonal skills to provide care for a diverse patient population
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Eligibility for Medical Assistant-Registered Certification (must apply within seven days of hire)
  • Must obtain Medical Assistant-Registered Certification within sixty days of hire
  • Nursing Assistant Certification/Licensure required
  • Current CPR Certification
  • Recent experience in bedside care within a healthcare setting
