Key Responsibilities:

  • Support our Sales team across Commercial, Academic, Government, and Home markets, with a focus on Inside Sales across EMEA territories.
  • Execute on a call/email plan to ensure all leads and potential customers receive intelligent and action-oriented next steps.
  • Utilize CRM software in real-time to drive sales activity, planning, and productivity, updating all CRM records as required.
  • Maintain a Sugar CRM pipeline of opportunities and close sales, providing reporting information to sales management.
  • Update leads, opportunities, and customer contacts within CRM software in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and send quotes, pro-forma invoices, and site contracts, ensuring relevant internal paperwork and reporting is maintained in accordance with company quality management requirements.
  • Pull reports from the CRM database to determine order levels, sales figures, service renewals, and site license statistics.
  • Research contacts for sales initiatives, campaigns, and mailings, assisting in planning and executing those campaigns and carrying out lead follow-up, including calling customers.
  • Review tender portals to identify sales opportunities.
  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure business objectives and growth are actively achieved.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to assist in organizing meetings and events, liaising with customers to coordinate roadshows, workshops, and webinars.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in customer-facing sales and administration roles is essential.
  • Ability to thoroughly research existing and potential clients to identify opportunities and potential growth.
  • Target-oriented and capable of working under pressure, to tight deadlines often on multiple projects.
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic, ability to network, decision-making, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent planning and organization skills, with the ability to work on own initiative.
  • Flexible and adaptable approach, open-minded, and positive attitude with a good team ethic.
  • A high level of numeracy and attention to detail will be required.
  • Good working knowledge of M/S Office, CRM systems, and databases, and an aptitude to learn new systems.

What We Offer:

This role offers a hybrid remote work arrangement, with a 60:40 split between office and home work. We offer a competitive salary of £25,000 per annum, with an OTE commission of £5,000 per annum.
