About the Job

The Part-Time Inventory Control Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the day-to-day inventory tasks are completed accurately and efficiently. This includes conducting inventory counts, quality checks of incoming products, labeling and organization of inventory, and assisting in verification of product counts and regulatory compliance standards upon deliveries.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management: Label and tag new FGI (Finished Goods Inventory) received, conduct weekly cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and maintain an accurate log of inventory for disposal.
  • Quality Checks: Verify quantity, label, and COA (Certificate of Analysis) for all products entering inventory.
  • Compliance: Ensure all products are correctly labeled and compliant with regulatory standards before making them available for sale.
  • Auditing: Conduct monthly inventory audits to reconcile and complete any necessary adjustments.
  • Communication: Escalate any inventory or UID discrepancies to the Inventory Control Lead or Manager for prompt resolution.

Requirements:

  • Must be 21+ years of age.
  • Previous inventory experience in a retail or warehouse environment is a plus.
  • Strong math skills and proficiency using Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • METRC or similar cannabis seed-to-sale tracking software experience is preferred.
  • A valid California Driver's License and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
