Position Type: Full Time
Schedule: Monday-Saturday, starting at 5 AM until all scheduled stops are completed.
Eligibility: A valid Nassau or Suffolk County Pistol Permit is required.
Compensation: $23.00 per hour

Role Overview:
As a Secure Transport Specialist, you will collaborate with your team to guarantee the safe and secure collection and delivery of cash, coins, and other valuables.

Key Responsibilities:
• Operate armored vehicles and other transportation means along designated routes to serve client locations.
• Provide services to ATMs and Smart Safes.
• Attend to customer stops, including delivering change orders and collecting deposits.
• Load and unload cargo, which may include multiple bags and boxes of coins.
• Accurately count items, record details, and sign for cargo received.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• A minimum of three years of driving experience is required.
• Ability to obtain a Medical Examiners Certificate through a US Department of Transportation approved medical examiner.
• A valid firearms permit or the ability to meet applicable firearms requirements may be necessary.

Work Environment:
• Full-time schedule, averaging 40 to 50 hours per week, typically requiring a minimum of five days within a six-day work period. Occasional weekend shifts may be necessary.
• Approximately 90-95% of the work is conducted in an air-conditioned vehicle, within designated compartments (front and rear).

Essential Duties and Qualifications:
As part of the qualification process for the Secure Transport Specialist role, candidates must complete a Human Performance Evaluation (HPE). This evaluation includes testing in the following areas:
• Lifting:
- 25 lbs vertical lift from 10 inches to 66 inches (1X)
- 18 lbs vertical lift from 1 inch to 44 inches and horizontally transfer 15 ft (4X)
- 18 lbs vertical lift from 10 inches to 36 inches and horizontally transfer 300 ft (1X)
- 50 lbs vertical lift from 10 inches to 36 inches and horizontally transfer 2 ft (2X)
• Push-Pull:
- Horizontally transfer 47 lbs of force on a sled (single, non-dominant arm), a distance of 1 ft (2X)
• Repetitive Coupling:
- Squeeze Jamar Hand Dynamometer requiring forces up to 30 lbs / both hands (4X)
• Climbing:
- Ascend/Descend a step with heights of 24 inches (10X)
