Job Summary
The Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant) is responsible for delivering patient care within the framework of their training and approved agreements, as defined by their governing board. This role involves collaboration with other healthcare providers and staff to ensure efficient patient flow and maintain high levels of patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough and accurate health histories, review patient records, develop comprehensive medical assessments, and order appropriate laboratory, radiological, and diagnostic studies based on patient complaints and conditions.
  • Deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Ensure timely completion of charts and medical records.
  • Interpret and analyze patient data to assess patient status and management.
  • Provide guidance and education regarding healthcare and health promotion to patients and their families.
  • Analyze and interpret laboratory studies and reports.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Strong communication skills with staff, patients, and families.
  • Proficient in suturing, splinting, minor office procedures, x-ray interpretations, and treating patients of all ages.
  • DOT Certification preferred; if not certified, willingness to obtain certification (training provided by employer).
  • Professional demeanor and appearance.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
  • ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA Board Certified (with preferred experience in ER/UC).
  • Active and current Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license in Pennsylvania with unrestricted DEA certification.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and work independently.
