The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) is a key member of our healthcare team, responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with other providers and staff to ensure efficient patient flow and a high level of patient satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive health histories, review patient records, and develop detailed medical assessments.
- Order laboratory, radiological, and diagnostic studies as necessary.
- Provide high-quality patient care, formulating medical and nursing diagnoses, and instituting therapy or referrals as needed.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of medical records and charts.
- Interpret and analyze patient data to determine patient status, management, and treatment.
- Interpret and analyze laboratory studies and reports.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confident in suturing, splinting, minor office procedures, x-ray reads, and treating all ages.
- DOT Certification preferred, with willingness to become certified if not already.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
- ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA Board Certification, with 1 year of ER/UC experience preferred.
- Active and current Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license in Pennsylvania and unrestricted DEA certification.
