Job Summary

Hoyleton Youth and Family Services is seeking a skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our team of professionals dedicated to providing emotional and mental health services for youth and families in southern Illinois.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and group therapy to children, adults, couples, and families in an office or community setting.
  • Conduct bio-psycho-social assessments and develop treatment goals with clients and their guardians.
  • Participate in clinical case staffing and provide crisis intervention as needed.
  • Collaborate with other professionals as part of a care team and with external agencies and families to coordinate services.
  • Ensure proper billing for self-pay and insured clients and participate in utilization reviews of clinical files.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related human services field.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices and various treatment modalities used with the population served.
  • Understanding and appreciation of multiculturalism.
  • Ability and willingness to complete the Children and Residential Experiences (CARE) and Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) training.
  • Valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Licensed Clinical Social Work (LCSW) or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) certification.
Work Environment

This full-time position typically works 40-hour weeks on Monday - Friday.
