About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Hoyleton Youth and Family Services. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide mental health services and advocacy for families in a supportive and constructive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and group therapy to children, adults, couples, and families using evidence-based practices and a variety of therapeutic approaches.
  • Complete bio-psycho-social assessments and develop treatment goals with clients and their guardians.
  • Participate in clinical case staffing and provide crisis intervention as needed.
  • Collaborate with external agencies and families to coordinate appropriate services that support clients' mental health and overall stability.
  • Ensure proper billing for self-pay and insured clients.
  • Participate in utilization reviews (URs) of clinical files and ensure that all insurance and Medicaid requirements are met.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related human services field.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices and a variety of treatment modalities used with the population we serve.
  • Understanding and appreciation of multiculturalism.
  • Ability and willingness to complete the children and residential experiences (CARE) and therapeutic crisis intervention (TCI) training.
  • Valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
  • Licensed clinical social work (LCSW) or licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC) preferred but multiple factors will be taken into consideration.

Work Schedule
