Educational Therapist for Elementary School Students

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join our team for the remainder of the 2024-2025 school year.
This is a full-time, onsite position starting immediately and continuing through May 23, 2025. The ideal candidate will have a passion for making a difference in the lives of students and their academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Student Assessments: Conduct psychological assessments for students in 3rd and 4th grades.
- ARD Meetings: Participate in ARD meetings to help guide educational planning and decision-making.
- Consultation and Support: Provide consultation and support to teachers, staff, and parents to address students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
- Intervention Strategies: Develop and implement intervention strategies to promote student success.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with other specialists and the school team to create individualized educational plans.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, progress, and interventions.
Requirements:
- A valid Texas School Psychologist certification.
- Experience working with elementary school-aged children, especially 3rd and 4th graders.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- A passion for making a difference in the lives of students and their academic success.
- The ability to start immediately and commit to the full contract period (through May 23, 2025).
