Job Title: Wind Technician

Join EDF Renewables North America, a leading independent power producer and service provider, in a challenging and rewarding role as a Wind Technician. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in maintaining and repairing wind turbines, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our renewable energy assets.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on wind turbines, including preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Work at heights, including climbing and descending wind turbine towers in various weather conditions.
  • Operate full-size pickup trucks in purpose-built private and public roadways.
  • Lift and move up to 50 pounds frequently.
  • Meet the physical demands of the job, including working in a mechanical environment with tools, machines, and moving parts.
Qualifications:
  • High school or equivalent education or up to one year of related experience or training.
  • Successfully complete applicable safety and technical training programs for entry-level technicians.
  • Able to demonstrate basic computer knowledge and follow both verbal and written instructions.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • At least one year of wind experience.
