Aviation Maintenance Specialist

As an Aviation Maintenance Technician at American Airlines, you will be responsible for ensuring the airworthiness of aircraft and their components. This includes performing scheduled maintenance inspections, certifying the quality of your workmanship, and connecting/removing ground power and ground start units.
Work ConditionsYou will work in extreme environmental conditions, including extreme heat, cold, rain, sleet, wind, and snow. You will also perform duties that require general safety awareness and the use of personal protective equipment.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need a High School diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and the ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language. You will also need to hold an Airframe and Power Plant License and be willing to work outdoors in any weather conditions.
