Senior Linux Administrator TS/SCI

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Linux Systems Administrator to join our team. As a Linux Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for managing, deploying, and maintaining classified IT infrastructures on a global scale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer Red Hat Linux based systems with minimal support, to include patching, creating RPM packages, performance tuning, networking, user management (LDAP), and security.
- Use and develop with automation tools/frameworks such as Terraform, Ansible, and Chef.
- Install, administer, and troubleshoot recent versions of OpenShift.
- Work with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security requirements and provide documentation and training on advanced IT processes and procedures.
- Develop solutions and documentation to a variety of technical problems.
Requirements:
- Must have an active and transferable U.S. government issued Top Secret SCI security clearance prior to start date.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience.
- Must have an active DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification (or higher) on start date.
- Must have experience with Linux, hardware, troubleshooting, and scripting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience administering Windows based systems.
- Proficiency with Enterprise level administration of common services such as DNS and LDAP.
- Strong analytic and research skills - must be detail oriented.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and troubleshoot problems with efficiency.
