POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Internal Auditor plays a crucial role in executing routine and ad hoc internal audits while monitoring controls. The internal audit department engages in a diverse array of financial, operational, compliance, information technology, and controls-based audit projects.

Within our Internal Audit department, you will have the opportunity to further develop the skills acquired in public accounting or industry internal audit, paving the way for continued advancement in internal audit or potential placement in other roles within the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize knowledge and expertise to conduct a variety of finance, operational, and compliance audits under the guidance of audit management.
  • Manage time effectively and take ownership of assignments to ensure fieldwork is executed as planned, adhering to established timelines and quality standards.
  • Document, evaluate, and enhance the effectiveness of internal controls to guarantee the reliability of financial reporting.
  • Communicate audit requests and potential findings effectively to business owners and audit team management.
  • Prepare clear and concise reports detailing audit results and findings.
  • Maintain a collaborative relationship with internal stakeholders (hospital management, corporate leadership) and external parties (external auditors, consultants).
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA License is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in public accounting and/or industry internal audit.
  • Experience in the healthcare sector is strongly preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Contribute to engagement planning and ensure deliverables address identified risks.
  • Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrate an analytical approach to problem-solving.
  • Foster a positive team attitude and collaborative working environment.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20%.
