Job Summary

A Senior IT Auditor is needed to conduct routine and ad hoc internal audits and monitor ITGC controls for a client in the healthcare industry. This role involves completing a diverse mix of audits to address financial, operational, compliance, information technology, and controls-based issues. The ideal candidate has past experience as an IT Auditor and can hit the ground running with little training.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine and ad hoc internal audits to ensure ITGC controls are in place and functioning as intended.
  • Monitor and report on ITGC control effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement control enhancements and remediate control deficiencies.
  • Develop and maintain audit plans, schedules, and procedures to ensure timely and effective audit execution.
  • Provide audit findings and recommendations to management and stakeholders.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Healthcare Management, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in public consulting and industry internal audit.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time to various locations, including Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and New Jersey.
  • Strong knowledge of SOX controls and healthcare regulations.
