Special Education Teacher Position

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team in Quincy, Massachusetts. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1+ years of experience working with students with special needs and a valid Massachusetts Special Education Teacher License.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's goals.
- Provide individualized instruction and support for students with diverse learning needs.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to create an inclusive classroom experience.
- Use creative strategies and technology to make learning fun, engaging, and impactful.
Requirements:
- Valid Massachusetts Special Education Teacher License (Moderate Disabilities, Severe Disabilities, or any other type).
- Clearances: Must obtain or hold all required Massachusetts school clearances, including CORI, DCF background check, and National fingerprint-based background check.
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field is required; Master's degree preferred.
- Prior experience working with students with disabilities is a plus, but new teachers are welcome to apply.
Compensation:
- Pay: $40-$50 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
