Job Overview

ProCare Therapy is a leading provider of educational staffing services, dedicated to supporting students' academic and personal growth. We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in Massachusetts, working closely with students, teachers, and parents to develop and implement individualized therapy plans.

As a School-Based Occupational Therapist with ProCare Therapy, you will provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to students in a school setting, utilizing evidence-based practices and collaborating with teachers and parents to integrate therapeutic strategies into the classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify students' functional needs related to fine motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and treatment plans based on assessment results.
  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, utilizing evidence-based practices.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to integrate therapeutic strategies into the classroom environment.
  • Monitor and document students' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on students' goals and progress.
  • Educate and support school staff and parents on techniques to support students' occupational therapy needs.

Qualifications:

  • Current Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state of Massachusetts.
  • Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations is preferred.
  • Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
