Restaurant Operations Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at RMH Franchise Corporation. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of dedicated associates.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage restaurant environment, ensuring prompt and friendly service, and maintaining a clean and comfortable atmosphere.
  • Direct overall activities and performance of associates, ensuring they meet sales demands and provide excellent customer service.
  • Control costs, manage inventory, and maintain accurate records, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve sales, customer satisfaction, and associate engagement.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to achieve restaurant performance objectives and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of two years of restaurant management experience, with a focus on building sales, managing inventory, customer relations, and personnel management.
  • High school diploma or GED required; college degree in a related field may be considered in lieu of experience.
  • Certification and completion of Applebee's Management Training Program(s) and the established Applebee's Manager-in-Training (MIT) program required.
  • Ability to work a 50-plus hour work week, including shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, with two days off per week.
