Position Overview:

As a pediatric Speech Language Pathologist, you will be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team that delivers family-focused services designed to assist families in addressing their child's unique needs through education, training, and support. This role involves working with children aged 0-3, utilizing a combination of telehealth and in-person sessions to provide effective services.

Work Schedule: Fee-For-Service Opportunities Available

Qualifications for our Speech Language Pathologists include:

  • A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and a valid Massachusetts CCC-SLP License are mandatory.
  • Compliance with DPH standards.
  • A valid driver's license and dependable transportation are required.
  • Experience working with pediatric populations.

Physical Demands for our SLPs:

  • Regular movement within the classroom, including activities such as kneeling, bending, sitting, lifting, and positioning children.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 pounds independently, and over 51 pounds with assistance or adaptive equipment.

In this role, our Speech-Language Pathologist will have the opportunity to:

  • Collaborate with families to identify each child's strengths and developmental requirements.
  • Co-create an Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP).
  • Work closely with a transdisciplinary team to plan and deliver services.
  • Manage case oversight and referral services for an assigned caseload.
  • Conduct home visits to provide developmental support, parent training, and guidance.
  • Facilitate groups for parents and children or children alone.
  • Prepare reports on assessments, progress, IFSPs, and discharge summaries.
  • Maintain effective communication with physicians, clinics, and community organizations involved in each child's care.
