Position Title: Nurse Floor Supervisor

Compensation: Hourly Rate: $42.00-$44.00

Role Summary:

We are seeking a full-time Nurse Floor Supervisor for our Assisted Living Facility. This role is pivotal in ensuring the delivery of safe, affordable, and high-quality assisted living services for seniors and others requiring residential care, promoting independence among residents. Candidates must possess a valid RN or LPN license in Washington State and current CPR certification. Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential, along with a commitment to professionalism and excellent attendance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Exhibit proficiency in providing age-appropriate care to patients.
  • Understand the principles of growth and development across the lifespan.
  • Identify and address the specific needs of patients, including infants, adolescents, and geriatrics.
  • Lead and manage Clinical Quality Measures for an average of 21 patients daily, encompassing both clinic visits and outreach efforts.
  • Perform specialized procedures, including IV access, blood draws, and catheterization, while administering medications as per provider orders.
  • Assist in patient rooming and support providers during procedures.
  • Facilitate emergency referrals and coordinate patient transfers as necessary.
  • Act as a resource for nursing staff, ensuring timely patient care and addressing scheduling needs.
  • Participate in training new nursing personnel.
  • Collaborate with the Nurse Manager and Nursing Supervisors on administrative tasks, including quality assurance and inventory management.

Consultation Duties:

  • Support assessment of walk-in patients and callers, managing symptoms according to established protocols.
  • Respond promptly to abnormal vital signs and initiate emergency interventions as required.
  • Document all patient interactions in accordance with organizational protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program (RN, LPN, BSN or equivalent).
  • Current licensure in Washington State.
  • IV Certification is preferred.
  • Experience in ambulatory care and long-term care is desirable.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
  • Must obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification within 90 days of hire and maintain it throughout employment.
