Role Summary:
Are you adept at weaving narratives from data? At World of Good Brands, we seek to uncover significant audience narratives that set our properties apart in the competitive landscape. The Associate Manager for Insights Strategy will lead this initiative daily, pinpointing engaging stories within our extensive audience data and synthesizing external reports. The ideal candidate will possess experience collaborating with various departments, including sales and marketing, to comprehend business requirements and translate them into data-informed strategies. This role is perfect for individuals eager to merge their creative marketing talents with analytical expertise, though it is not strictly a data analyst position.
This role is remote and reports to the Executive Director of Insights Strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Sales team with research and analytics, focusing on audience data, site metrics, market research, and internal consumption statistics.
- Enhance the competitive positioning of WGB properties in relation to other media entities and generate actionable insights to guide presentations, category narratives, and ongoing proposals.
- Leverage marketplace knowledge to develop a competitive advertising sales research strategy.
- Collaborate with the Executive Director to execute category research involving WGB audiences to bolster sales and marketing initiatives.
- Work alongside the Executive Director to convert existing research into materials for the sales team.
- Update and maintain all audience reference materials quarterly.
Qualifications:
What You Bring:
- 2-4 years of experience in a research or data role, preferably supporting a sales organization within a media publishing context.
- Strong understanding of the digital media landscape and industry-specific research.
- Familiarity with both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies.
- Experience with various data types, including site, social, affiliate/commerce, and experiential data.
- Proficient in tools such as Comscore, Quantcast, and Google Analytics.
- Knowledge of brand study tools like Nielsen Brand Lift and Lucid Impact Measurement is a plus, but not mandatory.

Compensation:
The starting base salary for this position is $65,000. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market conditions. The salary range is subject to change and may be adjusted in the future. This role may also qualify for bonuses, benefits, and other perks.
