Acute Admissions Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Acute Admissions Supervisor to join our team at Acadia Healthcare. As a key member of our admissions department, you will be responsible for planning, assigning, and supervising the work of admissions staff to ensure the efficient and safe admission of patients.
Key Responsibilities- Patient Prioritization: Prioritize potential admissions, considering patient needs and the facility's capability and capacity to meet those needs.
- Supervision and Guidance: Provide guidance and direction to staff, encouraging mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members.
- EMTALA Compliance: Ensure that EMTALA logs are completed for each patient seen by admissions.
- Staff Training: Participate in staff training by serving as a preceptor for new admission team employees.
- Shift Challenges: Report shift challenges promptly to the AOC or Admissions Director.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a social service field is preferred.
- Experience: One or more years' experience in a healthcare admissions role is preferred.
- Certifications: CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification is preferred.
