Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and negotiate essential business agreements, including service contracts, non-disclosure agreements, and amendments, under the supervision of legal counsel.
  • Conduct thorough legal research across multiple domains such as corporate law, employment regulations, data protection, and international business legislation.
  • Summarize pertinent factual and legal issues for internal use.
  • Manage and oversee contract documentation, collaborating with business units to enhance the contract review workflow.
  • Coordinate departmental responses and manage company surveys.
  • Organize and maintain legal templates, union agreements, and corporate policies.
  • Archive and manage documents related to ongoing and completed legal cases.
  • Monitor and provide updates on departmental budgets, key performance indicators, and legal timelines.
  • Prepare, edit, and review reports, memoranda, and court filings.
  • Engage with individuals or groups involved in legal matters to provide necessary information and clarify issues.
  • Assist attorneys with various administrative tasks.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (BA) is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience as a paralegal in a corporate legal department, governmental agency, or law firm, with a preference for experience in contract administration and corporate transactions.
  • Proven ability to conduct independent research, analyze, organize, and summarize complex issues.
  • Familiarity with legal research databases, such as Westlaw.
  • Strong project management capabilities with a keen attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Effective and professional interaction with personnel at all levels.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
