NOC Network Support Specialist

As a NOC Network Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our network operations. Your primary responsibilities will include implementing and managing network access controls, monitoring network health, and performing routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal network operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage network access controls, including user and device access permissions, authentication, and authorization.
- Assist with the installation, configuration, and setup of access and managed network hardware and software, including routers, switches, and other network devices.
- Respond to, troubleshoot, and resolve access and network-related support requests and incidents, including connectivity problems, hardware failures, and configuration errors.
- Monitor network health, performance, and availability, identifying and addressing issues to maintain optimal network operations.
- Perform routine, level 1 maintenance tasks, such as system updates, backups, and hardware upgrades, according to established procedures.
- Collaborate with senior technicians and network engineers to support network projects and initiatives.
- Follow established network security protocols and best practices to ensure the integrity and protection of network systems.
- Assist with network performance monitoring and reporting, contributing to efforts to improve network efficiency and reliability.

- Ability to foster strong working relationships between project teams, stakeholders, management, and vendors.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
