Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage bakery inventory levels, including ordering and receiving products, to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist with visual merchandising and display of bakery products to create an attractive and inviting shopping environment.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with the bakery team to achieve sales and profitability goals.
  • Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and trends to provide expert advice to customers.
  • Perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned, including setting up and maintaining displays, and ensuring accurate signage and pricing.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • 12+ months retail experience, preferably in a bakery or food service environment.
  • Strong knowledge of bakery products, including ingredients, preparation methods, and nutritional information.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, vendors, and team members.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
