Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Bakery Order Writer to join our team at Whole Foods Market - Manhasset. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our bakery department, including ordering, inventory management, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage bakery inventory, including ordering and receiving products, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work closely with the bakery team to ensure efficient and effective operation of the department.
  • Assist with visual merchandising and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
  • Participate in inventory management and control, including monitoring and reporting on inventory levels and trends.
Requirements
  • 12+ months retail experience, preferably in a bakery or customer service role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
