Position Overview:

The Senior Integration Solutions Engineer will play a pivotal role in the organization, contributing to the ExCAL program (Exceptional Capabilities for All Leaders) as it develops and executes strategies surrounding business platforms. This includes, but is not limited to, Field Service Management (FSM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Human Capital Management (HCM), and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.

The primary objective is to transition various operational units onto these platforms in a strategic manner that maximizes value capture while minimizing business disruption.

This initiative will also involve discussions around legal entity rationalization and the establishment of shared services to facilitate the transition to new systems and platforms.

The program encompasses both business transformation and technological advancements across the organization over several phases.


Key Responsibilities:

The Senior Integration Solutions Engineer will be crucial to the ExCAL program, working alongside the existing integration team to craft superior integration solutions.

This role entails overseeing the design, development, and implementation of comprehensive integration solutions that align with the program's and organization's objectives.

The Senior Integration Solutions Engineer will collaborate with platform teams, stakeholders from operational units, corporate functions, and vendor integration partners to fulfill project goals.

They will apply established integration patterns and best practices, particularly utilizing Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) for Oracle product integration.


Essential Duties:
  • Engage with business and IT stakeholders to gather integration requirements and convert them into technical specifications.
  • Collaborate with IT and program teams to comprehend and align with integration strategies and methodologies, planning their execution.
  • Work with system integration partners to effectively plan and lead the implementation of all integrations within the ExCAL framework.
  • Lead solution architecture, design, development, and testing efforts for application integration projects, coordinating with other technical teams to meet business needs.
  • Assist with development as necessary.
  • Create, review, and approve detailed documentation for integration processes to ensure clarity and consistency.
  • Ensure that new application integrations are designed to work seamlessly with existing integrations.
  • Present integration design solutions to the Architecture Review Board, seeking and incorporating feedback.
  • Partner with development teams to enhance and optimize integration solutions, promoting continuous improvement, scalability, and sustainability.
  • Provide hands-on troubleshooting and support for integration-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Mentor and coach team members on best practices in integration design and development, including the use of established integration patterns.
  • Manage the integration team responsible for building Boomi and OIC integrations, ensuring stability, scalability, and reliability.
  • Offer guidance and best practices to broader technical teams, assisting in critical and time-sensitive situations.
  • Lead the creation of Knowledge Transfer documentation for transitioning integrations to operational teams.
  • Stay informed about emerging integration technologies and trends, recommending innovative solutions to enhance integration capabilities.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in integration engineering roles.
  • Proficiency in middleware integration tools, specifically Boomi and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
  • Strong understanding of integration patterns and best practices.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Azure, is advantageous.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality integration solutions on time and within budget.
  • Comfortable with a matrix reporting structure.
  • Experience working in an onshore-offshore delivery model that spans time zones.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
