Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Custodian I, Part-Time to join our team at County College of Morris. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our campus buildings. Key Responsibilities: • Perform a wide range of routine cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and changing light bulbs • Maintain restrooms, including cleaning walls, sinks, fixtures, toilets, and mirrors • Replenish towels, tissues, and soap dispensers • Empty garbage receptacles and perform recycling duties as needed • Clean entrances to buildings, including glass on entrance doors and exterior areas • Police areas around buildings for litter • Perform work orders assigned by the Custodial Supervisor, including assisting with special events and college activities • Clear snow and ice from entrance ways, walkways, patios, and steps • Shovel or sweep areas and apply calcium chloride Qualifications: • High school graduate or equivalency desirable • 0-6 months experience in custodial maintenance Work Hours: • Monday – Thursday: 9:30 pm – 1:30 am • Friday: 9:30 pm – 1:00 am
