About the Role:

As a CBRE HVAC Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment for sophisticated commercial HVAC systems by conducting proactive performance testing and ongoing scheduled maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assign tasks to team members and ensure all duties are completed in a timely manner.
  • Install, repair, adjust, service, and maintain electric or pneumatic control systems used for building heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems and equipment.
  • Inspect and conduct ongoing maintenance on building HVAC equipment to ensure accurate operation and compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
  • Solve equipment failures and identify the best course of action for equipment modifications.
  • Apply knowledge of standard principles and procedures to accomplish sophisticated assignments and provide innovative solutions.
  • Mentor others and share knowledge of own subject area and broad knowledge of several job fields within the function.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of experience.
  • Meet the physical requirements of this role, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs, and the ability to carry loads of 50 lbs or more.
  • Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
  • Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Organizational skills with a sophisticated inquisitive mindset.
  • Sophisticated math skills.
