Work Schedule:

6.50 hours per day, 184 days per year, Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students in one-on-one and small group environments, enhancing their learning experiences across various subjects including literacy, mathematics, and science.
  • Assist students in managing conflicts and improving their behavioral skills.
  • Collaborate with educators to prepare instructional materials and facilitate engaging learning activities.
  • Provide support for students with special needs, focusing on skill development and behavioral strategies.
  • Engage in recreational and physical education activities to promote overall student well-being.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and assist in the evaluation of their academic achievements.
  • Ensure a safe and supportive environment for all students, adhering to district policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of required training and assessments as outlined by the Every Student Succeeds Act.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks related to student care and support.

  • Successful completion of background checks as mandated by state regulations.
